About Biotechnology Department

Biotechnology is a rapidly growing discipline of research due to its high demand, in fields such as pharmaceuticals, agriculture, food biotechnology, nutrition, medicine, forensic science, the dairy sector, cosmetics, and so on it provide several opportunities. Development in biotechnology for human welfare has become urgent, and in the age of globalisation, we will need to work on advanced technologies over time in order to go from developing to developed countries. For a long time, there has been a need from management and the rural public to launch a professional course in biotechnology. Keeping this in mind, Manager Shri Jai Prakash Gupta The first master's level biotechnology course began in SSMV on July 1st 2008. Biotech department has been starving to provide the quality education to the students since its inception biotechnology provide tremendous scope in these two decades also emerged as a leading area of research and development with immense impact on society.
