The foundation stone of the building of Shyamlal Saraswati Mahavidyalaya, Shikarpur was laid on 16 December 1994 by the hands of honourable Late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji former Prime Minister of our country, Saraswati Shiksha Samiti Shikarpur which was registered Under the Societies Registration Act 1860.
This college boats of highly qualified and one of the best faculty imparting quality and value education to its students. The college has ultra-modern facilities to strike a right balance between academic and over all personality development of pupil teacher by having lots of Co-curricular activities going round the session.

Educational Leadership has crucial role to play in the upgradation and makeover of society, and for this transformation to happen, efficient and effective leaders are indispensable. I, Anurag Goyal, as the Manager of Shyamlal College situated in Shikarpur, District
Bulandshahar, Uttar Pradesh, is responsible for providing overall strategic direction to the organization and ensuring effective imparting of education to nearly 1600+ students. The college has highly qualified faculty in their respective fields of expertise. A large number of national conferences, seminars and workshops are organized by the college. Such events provide a variety of experiences to the students and inculcate skills such as leadership and team spirit which are helpful in their career. Our faculty members have been able to publish good quality research work in high impact factor journals of repute. There is an active interaction between faculty and students in the campus. The learning experiences in the campus pave a strong path for enhancement of overall development of the learners.
