The foundation stone of the building of Shyamlal Saraswati Mahavidyalaya, Shikarpur was laid on 16 December 1994 by the hands
of the former Prime Minister of our country, Late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji By Saraswati Shiksha Samiti Shikarpur which
was registered Under the Societies Registration Act 1860,
With the aim of promoting girl child education, BA course is conducted in the college, in which Hindi, English, Economics, sociology, politics, along with two experimental subjects, painting and home science.
In the construction of this institution, native and non-resident Indians of the area are Shri Ramesh Chandra Gupta ji Shri Meghraj Gupta ji, Shri Vijay Gupta ji, Shri Narendra Kumar Gupta ji and Shri Bhupendra Gupta ji has given its valuable financial support in the memory of his father Late Shri Shyam Lal ji.
In All this Person Who Played a leading role in the establishment of the college and dedicated to its progress, concerned about the availability of education of all classes in this area, the former manager of these institution late Shri Jayaprakash Gupta ji and the current manager of the college Shri Anurag Goyal ji, president shri Ashok Kumar Mittal ji ,treasurer shri Anil Kumar Mittal ji and the management system is constantly determined to complete the temple of higher education with all the modem and necessary resources and bring it to the pinnacle of the center of excellence. Library
The College has a well furnished Library-cum-Reading Room where necessary facilities to sit and study are provided.The students can borrow books from library.
We have well stocked Libraries, separate for each college/department. Seventeen Thausand One hundred ninty seven of books, Science and Art journals/ periodicals and broadband connected e-library becomes immense source of knowledge bank.
Transport Details
In case a students wants to discontinue using a bus in new session starting from April he/ she must apply in writing for the same latest by last day of February of that year. In case the same is not done by due date, it shall be presumed that he/ she shall continue using bus in next session also and he/ she shall have to pay bus fees for April and onward.
Charges
The bus charges are payable along with the fee every month.
Timings
Approximate timings for each bus stop on various routes are shown in the route chart. Bus users are expected to reach the stop atleast 10 min. before the scheduled time.
Note
The school reserves the right to make additions and alternations in the bus routes & stops and revise the charges. The students traveling in school bus do so at their own risks.
