SSMV College NCC
SSMV College has one companies, consisting of 160 vacancy for boys and girls. The NCC for Boys [Senior Division] started in the year 2021. The NCC for girls [Senior Wing ] was raised in the year 2021. The battalion associated with 39 UPBN NCC KHURJA.
Introduction to NCC
The National Cadet Corps is the Indian military cadet corps with its Headquarters at New Delhi. It is a Tri-Services Organization, comprising the Army, Navy and Air Force, engaged in grooming the youth of the country into disciplined and patriotic citizens. The National Cadet Corps in India is a voluntary organization which recruits cadets from high schools, colleges and Universities all over India. The Cadets are given basic military training in small arms and parades. The officers and cadets have no liability for active military service once they complete their course but are given preference over normal candidates during selections based on the achievements in the corps.

SSMV NCC Activities

(a) Weakly Drills NCC Unit KMC conducted weekly Drill Activity under the supervision of ANOs along with the drill they conduct some lectures also relating to personal growth and motivate the NCC cadets to take active participation in NCC activities with great zeal and enthusiasm.
(b) Annual all India Level NCC festival The NCC KMC Unit hosted National level annual NCC festival ‘CADET’ for over 3 days that involve various competitions, cultural shows, and workshops. This event has been organized annually since 1999 and The event has had participants from Goa, Uttarakhand, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, West Bengal, Telangana, Chandigarh, Chhattisgarh, Kerala, and other parts of the country alongside participants from Delhi. Few objective of the events are National Level Participation, Women empowerment, School student’s participation, Motivation by the Eminent speakers. Inculcate Leadership qualities, Boost confidence, and Personality development, to learn Resource and Human management, to inculcate "UNITY and DISCIPLINE".
(c) College Founder's Day Activities Our Cadets perform Gaurd of Honour to pay respect to the Cheif Guests and our college on Founder’s Day and they escort the Chief Guest through the entire programme in the most humble and disciplined way.
(d) Annual Education Trip To inculcate the various leadership qualities an adventurous trekking trip is organised every year, which inculcates the courage, taking initiative, performing beyond the limits, qualities in the cadets.
