SSMV SWC gives appropriate supports to the needy students to get the financial help from University and/or Govt. Welfare schemes. College at its own level always ready to help such students. To Promote the sports activities, We conduct various outdoor games such as Football Volleyball Kabbaddi etc. We have well furnished Basket ball ground. Badminton court etc. There are sufficient arrangement of Athletics. In various indoor games such as TT Carom, Chess etc. Apart from the conventional games we have developed Govt. approved Shooting range in our campus

The student cultural board serves as a vital link in promoting and preserving the rich tapestry of traditions, arts, and values within the college community Through various initiatives, the board fosters a sense of belonging encourages cultural exchange, and enhances students understanding of diverse perspectives. By organizing events, workshops, and activities, the board helps students appreciate their own heritage and develop a broader appreciation for the cultural landscape around them.

Shyamlal Saraswati Mahavidyalaya NCC has a total strerigth of 110 cadets all enrolled in army wing. NCC regularly organizes annual training camps. Other facilities include firing/shooting range, B certificate and C certificate. The cadets selected on the basis of high sense of duty. discipline and participation in various activities on Independence day parade NCC rally Republic day parades.

NSS unit of Shyamlal Saraswati Mahavidyalya, Shikarpur works to bridge the gap between the educated and uneducated sections of communities. The aims and objectives of NSS are to work among people to develop a desire to serve the weaker section of the community, and to gain skills in democratic leadership.
